Chardfm have developed the Chardfm fire business to deliver market leading fire systems maintenance while ensuring legislative compliance but more importantly a safe facility. The Chardfm fire multi-skilled technicians are all highly trained on all types of current fire systems and are regularly undergoing additional training to maintain their knowledge.

Chardfm fire understands that there are several important drivers for maintaining fire detection, control and suppression systems, these are:

• Ensure early detection of a smoke and fire and give the occupants the longest period to evacuate
• Maintain the audible alarms so they function appropriately and can be heard
• Maintain the local fire fighting equipment to allow occupants to fight small fires
• Maintain the tools needed by those trained to fight a fire
• Maintain the systems which suppress fire so that they react when they are needed
• Maintain the systems which extract smoke to allow a clear egress
• Maintain the emergency lighting systems so they activate and illuminate when they are needed
• To minimise the damage to property by fire
• To monitor emergency egress routes to ensure they are clear
• Maintain egress points so they can be opened when required
• Maintain signage to show egress routes and muster points
